Possessive nouns in English show a possession
relation between two nouns. They take the form of (noun + 's + noun)
Peter's car. (correct) (El coche de Peter)
In this example the noun "Peter" possesses a
"car". Spanish speakers find these types of nouns a bit difficult to use at first.
They tend to use the "of" sentence to show
any type of possession relation.
