LEARN SPANISH COUNTABLE COMMON NOUNS
Common nouns name objects in a general way. Most nouns in Spanish are common nouns.
Mi gato es precioso. (My cat is gorgeous)
In this example the noun "gato" is a common noun because it is naming my pet in
a general way, just by its species and not by its proper name. We said previously
that common nouns are countable nouns, that means we can count them and in that
way we can get their plural forms.
Mis gatos son preciosos. (My cats are gorgeous) | |||||
